Overview

What is P2P Leased Line (Point-to-Point)?

A Point-to-Point (P2P) Leased Line is a private, dedicated data circuit between two fixed locations. Traffic never travels over the public internet, giving you predictable latency, high security and guaranteed bandwidth.

P2P links are commonly used to connect head office to a branch, an office to a data centre, or a primary site to a disaster-recovery site.

Because the circuit is exclusive to you, it is ideal for real-time applications, large data replication and voice traffic between sites.

Ideal for

Enterprises with DR sites
Banks and financial institutions
Companies with data centres
Campus-to-campus links

Before you buy

Buying Guide

What to evaluate, and what to share with us for an accurate proposal.

What to check before you buy

  • Exact A-end and B-end addresses
  • Bandwidth needed between the two sites
  • Latency sensitivity of applications
  • Last-mile feasibility at both ends
  • Redundancy or protected path requirement
  • Handoff interface and CPE responsibility

Share these for an accurate proposal

  1. 1Both site addresses (A-end and B-end)
  2. 2Applications running between sites
  3. 3Required bandwidth
  4. 4Need for backup / protected path
  5. 5Timeline for commissioning
